    An iconic bohemian Saturday market in the schoolyard of Glebe Public School, beloved for its eclectic mix of vintage and second-hand fashion, handmade jewellery, crystals, records, art, and street food. The atmosphere is relaxed, creative, and distinctly inner-west Sydney. Dogs on leads are welcome. Running since 1981, it is one of Sydney's longest-running and most characterful markets. Pair with a walk along Glebe Point Road for excellent coffee and brunch options.

    Getting There

    Bus from the CBD — routes 431 or 433 from the city. By car, park in the surrounding streets or the Glebe Point Road car park. The market is at Glebe Public School on Glebe Point Road.

    Best Time to Visit

    Every Saturday from 10am. Arrive before noon for the best vintage clothing and jewellery selection.

    Tips

    • Dogs on leads are welcome — a very dog-friendly market
    • Glebe Point Road has excellent cafes on both sides — perfect for brunch before or after the market
    • The market runs rain or shine but is best on sunny Saturday mornings
